Hello, welcome to Mapplock - Location Based App Lock ("Application" or "We"), developed by AItoyz! This Privacy Policy is designed to help you understand how we collect, use, and protect the personal information you provide when accessing our services through our app.
In order to protect your normal use and improve the quality of our services, we may collect the following personal information or ask for specific permissions from you when you access our services:
Required for the Map-Gate feature. This allows the app to know if you are within a "Safe Zone" to automatically grant access or require a PIN/Pattern if you are outside the designated radius.
Used for the Intruder Selfie feature. When someone attempts to unlock your protected apps with the wrong PIN/Pattern, the app uses the front camera to capture a photo of the intruder.
This is a core feature. It allows Mapplock to move your sensitive photos, videos, and documents into a hidden, encrypted directory. We do not access or modify any files that you have not explicitly selected to hide.
Required for the App Locker. This permission allows the app to detect when a protected application is being launched so it can immediately display the lock screen.
Required to show the security lock screen over your protected apps (like WhatsApp, Gallery, etc.) to prevent unauthorized access.
Allows you to use your device's Fingerprint or Face Unlock for faster access to the vault. We do not store your biometric data; it is handled securely by the Android System.
Used solely to detect the opening of protected apps or specific chats to display the lock screen. We DO NOT monitor, collect, or share any private chat content or messages.
This optional feature provides "Uninstall Protection". It prevents intruders or accidental actions from deleting the app, which would result in the loss of your encrypted files.
We use the collected information to:
Data Security: We take all reasonable steps to ensure your data is handled securely. We do not store, sell, or transfer your private content (photos, videos, etc.) to any cloud servers. Everything remains encrypted on your local device.
Your personal information and encrypted files are stored only for the duration of your use of the app.

Mapplock utilizes map tiles, geographic data, boundary information, and related mapping content provided by independent third-party map service providers. AItoyz does not create, control, modify, verify, or endorse the accuracy, completeness, legality, territorial boundaries, political designations, country shapes, names, or representations displayed on such maps. Any borders, boundaries, geographic depictions, territorial claims, country outlines, place names, or regional representations shown within the application are solely those of the respective third-party map data providers and do not represent the views, opinions, positions, or official stance of AItoyz. AItoyz expressly respects the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and laws of the Republic of India. The inclusion or display of any map data shall not be construed as an endorsement, recognition, or acceptance of any disputed territory, boundary claim, or geopolitical position.
