Please read carefully: These Terms of Service (these "Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you" or "your") and AItoyz ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms govern your access and use of the Mapplock mobile application (the "App" or "Services").
THESE TERMS CONTAIN VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING YOUR RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS, AS WELL AS CONDITIONS, LIMITATIONS, DISCLAIMERS OF WARRANTIES, AND EXCLUSIONS THAT MIGHT APPLY TO YOU. PLEASE READ THEM CAREFULLY.
By downloading, installing, or using Mapplock in any manner, you agree to these Terms. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO ALL TERMS AND CONDITIONS IN THESE TERMS, DO NOT ACCESS AND IMMEDIATELY STOP USING THE SERVICES.
1.1. You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use our services. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
1.2. By using Mapplock, you represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity and authority to enter into this binding agreement.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information, including local location data processing (required for Map-Gate) and camera access (required for Intruder Capture). By using Mapplock, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the practices described in our Privacy Policy.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will inform you of material changes via an in-app notice before they take effect. By continuing to use Mapplock after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Mapplock strictly for personal, non-commercial security purposes. You agree not to:
4.1. Use Mapplock for any unlawful purpose or in any manner that infringes on the privacy, safety, or intellectual property rights of others.
4.2. Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, crack, or bypass the security and encryption features of the App.
4.3. Use the Intruder Capture feature to spy, stalk, harass, or violate the privacy of individuals in a public or private setting outside the strict context of personal phone security. You assume 100% legal liability for any photos captured by the App on your device.
4.4. Copy, modify, or distribute the App's proprietary "Map-Gate" source code, algorithms, or user interface design.
5.1. Mapplock may offer a one-time premium payment option to remove advertisements and unlock advanced features (e.g., Mapplock Pro). This is a non-recurring payment.
5.2. Billing Handler: All transactions, payments, and subscription states are handled exclusively through the Google Play Store billing system.
5.3. Refund Policy: Payments for ad removal or premium upgrades are generally non-refundable. Any refund requests must be processed through the Google Play Store and are subject to Google's standard platform refund policies.
All rights, title, and interest in and to Mapplock, including but not limited to the underlying source code, branding, the proprietary "Map-Gate" triggering logic, visual assets, icons, and UI design, belong exclusively to AItoyz. Unauthorized use of our brand elements or proprietary technology is strictly prohibited.
IMPORTANT: You expressly acknowledge and agree that your use of Mapplock is at your sole risk. The Services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.
7.1. Location Drift & Accuracy Disclaimer: Mapplock relies entirely on third-party hardware, cellular networks, Wi-Fi states, and GPS signals for its "Map-Gate" feature. We do not guarantee that location detection will be 100% accurate, continuous, or error-free. Factors like structural interference, signal drift, hardware limitations, or aggressive Android OS battery optimization may cause delayed or missed lockdowns/unlocks.
7.2. Lockdown Failures & False Positives: We are not responsible if an unexpected app lockdown prevents you from accessing critical device data, third-party apps, or accounts during time-sensitive situations or emergencies.
7.3. Zero-Knowledge Data Loss Warning: Because Mapplock uses high-level, local-only encryption, we do not store your passwords, PINs, or encrypted files on any cloud servers. If you forget your security credentials, clear app data, or uninstall the app without manually restoring your files first, your data will be permanently unrecoverable. We provide zero warranties against accidental data loss.
7.4. Map Data & Territorial Representation Disclaimer: Mapplock utilizes map tiles, geographic data, boundary information, and related mapping content provided by independent third-party map service providers. AItoyz does not create, control, modify, verify, or endorse the accuracy, completeness, legality, territorial boundaries, political designations, country shapes, names, or representations displayed on such maps. Any borders, boundaries, geographic depictions, territorial claims, country outlines, place names, or regional representations shown within the application are solely those of the respective third-party map data providers and do not represent the views, opinions, positions, or official stance of AItoyz. AItoyz expressly respects the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and laws of the Republic of India. The inclusion or display of any map data shall not be construed as an endorsement, recognition, or acceptance of any disputed territory, boundary claim, or geopolitical position. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, AItoyz shall not be liable for any inaccuracies, omissions, misrepresentations, or disputes arising from third-party map content displayed within the application.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall AItoyz, its founders, or team members be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. This includes, without limitation, loss of data (photos, videos, documents), hardware damage, financial loss, or personal disruption resulting from:
In no event shall our total aggregate liability exceed the exact amount you paid to AItoyz via the Google Play Store in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AItoyz from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected to your misuse of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights (specifically privacy claims regarding photos captured via the Intruder Capture system).
10.1. You may terminate this agreement at any time by simply uninstalling Mapplock and ceasing all use. (Reminder: Restore your encrypted files before deleting the app).
10.2. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Mapplock instantly, without prior notice, if we believe you are violating these Terms or using the application for fraudulent or malicious activities.
These Terms and any disputes arising directly or indirectly from your use of Mapplock shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal actions or proceedings must be brought in the appropriate courts located within India.
